Carole O’Connor is an organist, accompanist and teacher. She holds degrees from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama (BMus and PhD) and UCD (MMus). She studied organ with Anne Leahy, Una Russell and David Adams. She was organist of St Andrew’s Church, Westland Row (Dublin) for 16 years and served as artistic director of Dún Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts for the 2021 and 2022 series. She has given recitals throughout Ireland, and regularly collaborates with Patrice Keegan for organ duet performances. Carole is currently the accompanist for NCH Cór na nÓg, and organist and choir director of Whitefriar Street Church in Dublin.
Patrice Keegan began her organ studies with Una Russell at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama. She was organ scholar of Trinity College for three years, and following the completion of her degree she took up the position of organ scholar of St Patrick's Cathedral for two years. Patrice completed a masters degree in 2009, studying with Una Russell and Margaret Phillips, and a doctoral degree in 2021 with David Adams. Career highlights include the release of the album Les Angélus, an appearance on the album Potboilers, Pastiches and Party Pieces, and the Irish premiere of Patrick Cassidy’s The Mass. As well as performing regularly, Patrice teaches both piano and organ and accompanies Diva Voces and Sing Out choirs. She is resident organist in Holy Cross Church, Dundrum, Dublin.
